This is a small piece derived from a body of work titled, "frail hope, internal distance." I tended a bird nest with two blue robin eggs in my final year in Michigan. It was right before my long journey with an unknown destination. Free from gravity, the little robins flew away from the nest. Robins symbolize new beginnings, renewal, and also messages from loved ones who passed away.
