The artist draws inspiration from playing with her small children, and finding the fun in togetherness. The hand and base are sculpted using a low-fire clay. The surface is finished with a black wash of black and brushstrokes of gray underglaze. The hand is suspended slightly using a piece of high fire wire, intended to separate the two parts slightly.
