Heather Darr

Heather Darr is a ceramic artist born and raised in Hudson County, NJ. Through teaching young students, she is reminded and reminds that there is always space to be silly and curious. Heather’s newest work is inspired by fun; whether it be something you were missing or something you missed. While she could sit at the potter’s wheel for the better part of a day, Heather also loves to make small scale sculptures and has recently began sculpting her children’s’ hands. Her latest pieces include mugs with her toddler’s hand reaching into the cup, small cake jars with piped icing and glaze chip “sprinkles”, and small animals holding tiny wheel thrown vessels. She is a mom to two young children, a therapist’s wife, and a cat person who loves dogs.
