This stoneware bottle was thrown on the wheel in red, iron-rich, and brushed with white slip. It was soda-fired with wood in Bakersville, North Carolina. The surface of the bottle features the leaves collected regionally, an expression of the biodiversity in the clay-rich region where it was made. The interior is fully glazed, making it a functional piece for tinctures, healing potions, spring buds, or anything you can dream up. Sealed with a cork.
