This sake cup was throw off of the hump on my kickwheel. It was made of porcelain and then wood-fired in a train kiln named “Ursa” on Bear Mountain in Moonridge, Colorado. The surface decoration was painted with Strontium Blue and a purple wood-ash glaze.
