Shannon Sullivan

I use the language of abstraction to explore environmental changes like erosion, global warming, sea-level rise, ocean acidification and spreading oceanic ‘dead zones’. My sculptural forms hybridize natural sensations using clay and glaze to interpret form, surface, and their intersection.
