Spawned out of their own evolutionary construction process, much like nature, the alien organisms I create serve as a reminder of the oddity and complexity on our biosphere. Pursuing the characteristics and qualities of living organisms, I desire to enable people to release the uncertainty and fear regarding the concept of 'other'; and to become aware and compassionately accepting of the aspects in life we interpret as 'alien' or 'other'. What is our nature when we can’t label anything? Where all we can do is accept the very oddity before us with purity and love? There is no uncertainty or fear of what's other when one values compassionate acceptance, because then love flows purely and there is no need to hold onto that fear. The natural world is filled with incredibly unique alien characteristics, the level of complexity in nature triumphs over human capabilities, yet it's deemed to be feeble in the Anthropocene. Nature is a role model representing the fluidity of existence, how effortlessly it can exist without indication of a labeled purpose. Change is a central focus of the process in how these organisms are created, the clay and glass are shaped continuously until they reach their final form. Allowing space for change requires abundant acceptance, eventually accepting a series of events that constructed the outcome that way. Acceptance and change create a blossoming within our being, that allows us to grow. The opportunity for change occurs incessantly, it's always unfolding continuously it just needs to be accepted.
