Madeleine Walton

My work is a compilation of whimsical thoughts, strung together by porcelain. Throughout the process, I am often compelled by my emotions, thoughts, and the world quickly passing by me. This fuels a very strong 'what's next?' mentality within me. In turn I am forced to externalize private, introverted thoughts to be shared with all that are willing. By monumentalizing these thoughts, I am immortalizing a piece of time, a piece of me, that represents me and all that I am in that moment. As I look forward, I hope to transform a blank wall with color, texture, depth, and dimension provoking emotion within the viewer.
