Rachel Consolazio

I have always had a sense of light and fun to my work. There is plenty of suffering and hopelessness in the world; dwelling in that is not in my nature. I have had my share of difficulties and staying in that negative place is not comfortable or productive. I am fascinated by the way people react in difficult circumstances, as it is a universal human experience. The most beautiful part is finding the strength within and moving forward. I want my work to speak to that: be resilient, be strong, be positive. The creative process brings me satisfaction and delight, and I want that feeling to be shared by the user. Witnessing the joy from my process transform into someone else’s joy in the usage of the piece is pure magic. Sharing my work in my community has brought me new friendships, support, and oodles of kindness. Forming these strong bonds with other artists and art lovers has given me the courage to continue exploring my art, and share it again.
