Jeff Kleckner

Kleckner’s work is wheel thrown with porcelain or white stoneware clay and reduction fired. Shapes are altered when wet and sometimes assembled from thrown parts. Slips, oxides, glazes, and resists are applied in a manner that reflects his passion for pattern. He has taught ceramics at the Appalachian Center for the Crafts (TN), the Baum School of Art (PA), Kutztown University (PA), and currently at Northampton Community College (PA). Originally from Allentown Pennsylvania, Jeff has maintained a studio in Bethlehem PA since 1988.
