Living, interpreting, and making are endlessly intertwined in a cycle of art and daily life. Within the bounds of pottery, I seek to elevate everyday rituals into extraordinary moments. Alternating between throwing and coil-building, I intuitively paint the surface of my work. Teaching artist by day and ceramicist by night, when I am not building pots in my basement studio I work for the Clay Studio as a Community Engagement Teaching Artist.
