hand built from stoneware clay, beast of burden is a mystical creature who, silently and stoically, helps humans carry their burdens contained in a loadstone.
loadstones are formed by the gathering burdens; those you shouldered willingly or those which were cast upon you.
on the outside, burdens are symbolically represented by letters or numbers of which only the bearer knows the true meaning.
burdens carried with grace turn them from mere weight into sources of strength, resilience, and a deeper sense of purpose.
note: trick to getting the stone to balance on beast: gently roll stone on table letting it naturally settle on a flat side. place this flat side down on top of the beast's center back - be patient and steady :-) OR use the removeable sticky dot to attach the stone to the beast's back
