A nod to Philadelphia's unmistakable accent and devotion to the Eagles football team. These ceramic pieces reimagine holy and belief cards, traditionally associated with devotion and spiritual guidance, by infusing them with humor, regional identity, and material reverence. Each card features a "Death" header, an engraved central ampersand or symbolic motif, and an ending border reading "Taxes"—a nod to the inevitabilities of life. Playing with light, inscription, and perception, the phrase "believe" is subtly engraved, revealing itself only when viewed at an angle, reinforcing the ephemeral and faith-based nature of seeing. Instead of religious affirmations, the cards contain cheeky, culturally specific sayings. Ceramic engraved text and cut out text.
