In my artistic practice, I employ the slab technique to construct my pieces. This unique approach involves placing strips of clay randomly, allowing the clay to take shape organically. This method grants me the freedom to be pleasantly surprised by the outcome, as it unfolds like a beautifully intricate web of possibilities.
To create a sense of movement reminiscent of the sea, I carefully assemble the forms. This delicate process requires a keen eye and attention to detail. The colors I choose for my artwork are inspired by the mesmerizing hues of the ocean, encompassing a wide range of captivating blues and greens. I find great joy in exploring the multitude of ways these colors interact and reflect light, creating a captivating visual experience.
There is something truly enchanting about the darkness of the ocean at night, which fills one with a sense of wonder. I take my time during the creative process, allowing myself to follow my instincts and, above all, to listen to my heart.
