There are demonstrations in many places around the world. Despite very different themes, they often produce very similar images. I am interested in these pictures: the symbolic body language or hand signals, lettering, and similarities in clothing or protective equipment. Attempts are being made to generate images for the media and thus to communicate effectively with the public.

This scene roots in the images of the thousands of people demonstrating peacefully in Beijing against the Covid politics in China. The blank sheet of paper which was a way not to have proof of being a demonstrator became a strong symbol for this movement and speaks for all the words that Chinese people do not speak out loudly.
