Cone 6, multiple electric firings.
The piece features the traditional techniques I love, mixed with the fun of contemporary surface treatments and design:
Hand-built porcelain, glaze, ceramic decals, and gold decals.
The narrative runs around the piece extending inside the cup and under the foot. The cup is designed to be explored by both the hand and the eye as the story scrolls throughout the piece.
Functional piece. Dishwasher safe. Not microwave safe.
