Gabby Long

My work explores the connections between subconscious and physical worlds. My sculptures and paintings depict unfolding, imaginary spaces and structures that intertwine what is real and what is surreal. In my work, I am asking questions about the development of mental health over time, limbic and social systems, absurdity, and dreams. Drawing from land and organic patterns, architecture, and memories, I create with canvas, paint, clay, and light.
