Christine Chiang

Through ceramics, I explore the intersection of place and presence. Every form becomes an offering: a small meditation on interconnectedness. Clay remembers pressure. Fire records heat. Surfaces hold time. Through ceramics, I explore our relationship to the natural world—not as observers standing apart, but as participants within it. My work invites pause. It asks the viewer to notice texture, weight, and subtle detail—the same way one might notice the delicate complexity of a flower or landscape. In honouring nature’s processes, I aim to create objects that feel grounded, contemplative, and quietly alive.
