Living in four countries by age ten sparked my interest in the concept of “lost intranslation.” Language felt fluid and ever-changing, like metaphors in dreams, blurring the line between the real world and a fantastical one. This sense of displacement spurs me to examine the interplay between the tangible and intangible, exploring themes of memory, identity, and the impact of language and technology on our perceptions of reality.
