ANDREW SIEBERT

Artist Elisabeth Quatrano explores how memory, communication, and ways of living shift over time.
In her recent body of work, she studied ancient Mesopotamian cylinder seals — small carved stones once rolled onto clay as signatures to verify identity and ownership, 1000 - 2000 years ago. Her modern impressions made from these authentic ancient seals create playful forgeries that bring the past to life.
