My art practice is deeply rooted in the natural world. It’s an exploration of nature's profound influence on our lives — a connection that provides solace and grounding. Through ceramics, I seek to create a visual narrative that reflects these themes: the idea of a "safe space" to reconnect with both ourselves and the earth. Whether sculpting a figure or shaping a vessel, I weave organic forms, minimal color palettes and soft textures to mimic nature. By placing ceramic figures within these environments, I invite the viewer to consider the interplay between humanity and the world that surrounds us, and the sense of peace that can emerge from that interaction. In my recent body of work, I have introduced glass elements designed to evoke the presence of water. The glass is a metaphor for life’s essential fluidity and its ability to transform. By incorporating this material, I emphasize the role of the vessel—not only as an object of beauty, but as a functional entity, carrying meaning in both its form and its intended use. The vessel becomes a vessel of connection, a space where the feminine form and the natural world intersect. each piece is an exploration of this delicate balance—between form and function, the body and the environment. It is an invitation to slow down and to honor the profound interplay between nature and the human experience.
