Vanna Ramirez

I am an American artist born of Taiwanese and Salvadoran roots. My work is an exploration of multicultural identity and self-discovery, expressed through the tactile medium of clay. Guided by intuition, I blend stoneware, porcelain, and light to create figural sculptures that communicate through their unique compositions. Each piece is enveloped in provocative textures, challenging conventional aesthetics and inviting viewers into a tactile and visceral experience. Through my illuminated creations, I aim to evoke curiosity and introspection, fostering a deeper connection to empathy—toward others and within ourselves.
