Tiffany Yates

I'm a maker, a ceramist, and an illustrator both digital and traditional. I like the other, anatomy and visual puns. I am an artist and teacher at Libertytown Arts Workshop in Fredericksburg, VA. My work in studio 23 is inspired by medical and biological sciences as well as storytelling. I find the role of the other in stories and in society very attractive. I enjoy picking subjects that seem strange and misunderstood. The themes I explore with humor and curiosity are the shapes that exist in natural science.
