He knew they were dead, of course, had known since he saw the black smoke rising above the fog from leagues away. Still, it was better to be thorough. Any survivor at all might be able to give them information that would lead to the defeat of the enemy. I tell stories, long and short, and make art to accompany them, my adventures are for anyone willing to escape and imagine.
