Le XU

Le began her ceramics journey in 2023, bringing her background in landscape architecture into this tactile art form. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she has worked as a registered landscape architect and project manager in Philadelphia since 2017. In her spare time, she also explores oil painting, and these different art forms collectively inspire her ceramics. Her ceramic work, much like her landscape designs, is rooted in a deep appreciation for natural elements. Focusing on hand-building techniques and underglaze, Le’s process balances structure with organic forms. She draws inspiration from native plants and natural imperfections, crafting pieces that foster a closer connection to the earth. Each creation is a personal tribute to the raw, grounding beauty of the natural world, blending her professional insight with her evolving journey as an artist.
