maya wasileski

Based in Philadelphia, Maya Wasileski has been working with clay since 2017. She graduated from West Chester University with a degree in studio arts and started her career as a kiln technician. Raised in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, she was always drawn to art and music, with her active imagination often leading her away from her classroom seat. Today, her daydreams inspire her to recreate the interiors of places from her past. Her work focuses on combining function and form, using illustrations to tell stories. Themes of nostalgia and childhood influence her current projects deeply.
