Arista Wilson

Pinched porcelain pots are playfully painted with personal pictures. These pictures wash away in the kiln, then come out as memories frozen in time. I play with goof next to grace in my work, through wonky yellow faces and unfinished edges, under a shimmery, shiny finish. My process is full of play!
