“My work is primarily a combination of thrown and altered forms, hand built elements, nerikomi, mishima, and piercing. Pulling primary influence from ritual, world mysticism, soft abstract composition, and brutalist architecture I aim to amalgamate these themes into forms that feel found, but hold reverence. I like for the pots I make to feel as if they have had a life of their own long before they met your hand - and now they lend themselves to you to integrate your story.”
