My work explores whimsical realms where memory and imagination intersect. I transform collected oddities into fanciful scenes that exist between the familiar and fantastical. Working on an exaggerated scale, I create pieces that invite viewers to construct their own narratives about these mysterious characters.
I breathe new life into objects, using sprigs as both structural and decorative elements. I find relationships among the eclectic components, creating infinite combinations of texture, pattern, and imagery. The sprigs combine into carefully constructed, fantastical environments populated by biomorphic elements.
Through careful attention to detail and playful juxtaposition, I create intimate worlds that reward close inspection. The work emerges from my own sense of wonder, inviting viewers to forge their own connections and interpretations.
