Artist Statement
My pieces like seed pods are weathered relics of creation. Once the seeds have dropped, what calls us to admire the pod or husk? I believe that we see something of ourselves in the perfect beauty and function of creation. Through admiration we come to recognize and accept our own weathering process.
I am in awe of both the juicy flower and the weathered seed pod. I bring intact female imagery from nature into our lives. My pieces reveal themselves over time and evolve along with the observers creative life.
