My sculptural style reflects the serpentine road I took to get to this point in my artistic life. I studied Art Education and learned to teach a plethora of media. I have studied and practiced more media than anyone could master, but rediscovering ceramics feels like I have come home. My pieces often include ceramic animals, found objects and mixed media.
The scultpures I make tell a story. I am inspired by nature, animals and a touch of nostalgia. Finding a fun vintage piece may inspire a story. Sometimes, an animal I see will remind me of story that needs to be told. I invite the viewer to imagine their own story inspired by my work.
