Chidi Ukwuoma
My artistic practice is an exploration of the human condition, a delicate interplay between the tactile world of ceramics and the evocative storytelling of photographic collages. At its essence, my work delves deep into the realms of identity, symbolism, and mythology, all grounded in the shared experiences of humanity.
Identity, the intricate dance between the individual and the collective, is a recurring theme in my work. Through the fusion of ceramic sculptures and photographic collages, I bridge the gap between the tangible and the intangible, the past and the present. My art serves as a mirror through which viewers can reflect on their own journeys, their own symbolism, and their connection to the timeless myths that shape our existence.
