My ceramic work is inspired by the philosophy that beauty lies in simplicity and the subtle details that often go unnoticed. Drawing inspiration from mid-century-modern design, the primary focus of my work lies in decorative vessels. These vases focus on form rather than function, and with their tiny openings, are designed to hold a single dried stem or twig. Each piece is a contemplation in clay, an exploration of curves, textures, and the interplay of light and shadow. I believe in the quiet power of understated elegance, where each vessel serves as a gentle complement to the home’s decor rather than commanding center stage. I strive to create pieces that blend seamlessly with their surroundings, adding a touch of serenity and sophistication without overwhelming the senses. These vessels are small sculptures, each with its own personality and story, contributing to the narrative of the home in a modest yet meaningful way.
