I like to incorporate iconic logos and brands into my work. I am fascinated by the way consumerism and identity are interwoven into American culture. I often use heart motifs in my work to symbolize home, comfort, and sentimental attachment. I am interested in using paper, usually thought of as a 2D material, to create sculptures. I am inspired by origami and product packaging. When familiar, mundane objects are transformed into something new, viewers recall their experiences with the object and think deeper about the relationship they have with it.
