Art is both an act of creation and destruction. Once something is created, it begins its inevitable cycle of decay. My work is shaped by this natural order of creation and destruction—life and death. Through my artistic practice, I explore these concepts from a nihilistic perspective, primarily focusing on ceramic vessels, sculptures, and collages that reflect my jaded view of existence. Occult and religious imagery frequently appear in my work, as I am simultaneously fascinated and disturbed by these symbols. I manipulate and desecrate sacred objects to challenge the hypocrisy and absurdity that I perceive in their societal presence. My practice is deeply influenced by the themes of death, decay, and destruction in the natural world, while also finding beauty in suffering, loss, and grief.
