I am interested in the playful nature of ceramics including storytelling, form and texture. Working on both the wheel and in handbuilding I often use red stoneware and porcelain slip to achieve surfaces that can be drawn on, carved, or inlayed. If my work has a little surprise after closer inspection I am pleased.
