The exploration of non-functional forms as conduits for light and thought is the current direction of my work. I continually push pieces toward increasing translucency and weightlessness. Bone china and porcelain paper clay are my media of choice, allowing increased flexibility in creating thin, lightweight forms.
Inspiration is drawn from the varied microcosms of the natural world, entomology being of particular interest.
