For the last decade, I have been collecting handwritten lists that I find discarded out in the world. I spot them in grocery carts and parking lots, sometimes between the pages of a book. There are store lists and recipes, Christmas wish-lists and song recommendations. Each one offers a glimpse into a stranger’s world - or at least questions about it. This earthenware pot is collaged with screen-printed slip transfers of a selection of those lists.
