My artworks are focused on exploring the beauty of simplicity. I believe that art can be powerful without being complicated, and I strive to create pieces as an exploration of how we can find beauty in the simplest of things. There is a great deal of work behind this simplicity - each piece is crafted with intention, from the clay selection and glazing process to the overall design. My inspiration comes from the centuries-old monasteries of Armenia, nestled in the mountains. Churches are characterized by asceticism and minimalism. There you may feel the beauty of harmony, hear the inner voice and reflect to yourself . Focusing on those inspirations my goal is to bring a sense of balance to busy lives and help people take a moment for themselves.
