By nature, I am a curious being - this inquisitiveness drives my need to learn, experiment, and create. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon the field of ceramics due to the ongoing amalgamation of artistic freedom and technical challenge. The vessels are hand built or wheel thrown with the intention of keeping the forms simple. The simplified forms lend themselves to experimental surface decoration and firing techniques.
