Jeanne Blissett Robertson

Jeanne Blissett Robertson is a ceramic artist exploring the interaction and interconnectivity between nature, design, and human experience in the context of our current climate crisis. Jeanne's ceramic practice weaves together mystical natural references, scientific research, and design motifs spanning across timescales. Working with hand-building and casting, her pieces often have adornments or attachments, as though collected over time. She works with a variety of firing and glazing techniques to achieve multi-layered effects necessary for the story she's building. Her functional and sculptural objects act as props to construct alternative narratives that are guided by fantasy.
