I started creating these sculptures years ago with a vision of individual underwater tubes, but as they evolved their personalities reveled different stories - from sea corals to miniature city buildings. But most of them tell me about, within their tight-knit gatherings, how they have complicated relationships with each other. They are organic and playful as well as being structured which reflects my own personality.
