Jillian Heusohn

I am a ceramicist whose work centers around themes of relationships, reconnections, and fully embodied moments. In an era dominated by constant technological distractions and a fast-paced lifestyle, my art aims to address physical and mental fatigue by creating vessels that invite participants to pause and engage in slow moments of mindful contemplation. Through holding and reflecting on these ceramic forms, individuals are encouraged to connect not only with the vessels but also with themselves, fostering a deeper understanding of our relationships with others, ourselves, and the places we inhabit.
