Sheri Bare

Sheri Bare is a contemporary ceramic artist who tells stories through her storybook creations reflecting both childhood memories and imagined characters. As a professional interior designer, Sheri found her 3d art to be the perfect medium to blend her love of color, texture, form, and visual interest to her work. Since then, she has studied abroad, been exhibited both nationally and internationally, received awards for her work, and has been collected widely. As a result, her work has been positively received wherever it is shown. The colorful palette, use of texture, and unique beeswax finish add a bit of whimsy and leaves the viewer with a feeling of humor and lightheartedness that is intentionally woven into each sculpture. Ultimately, Sheri welcomes each individual’s interpretation of her work.
