My work is an investigation of things I find curious, sentimental towards, or objects I find humor in. This investigation could come from the objects surface, form, or most often from intriguing proportion or scale. Compound forms and a consciousness of enclosed volume are consistent in all forms. This work started with an approach to make pots that had a sense of whimsy, humor, and color at the forefront. Audacious, lively, and a little cheeky; pieces with attitude and intention.
