Material exploration is crucial to my artistic process. My current body of work marries two contrasting mediums in an unlikely union. Clay soundly remains at the core of my practice while latex begs for attention in a playfully teasing way. The ephemeral, soft quality of latex medium compliments the plasticity of clay yet contradicts its indisputable permanence.
