Material exploration is crucial to my artistic process. My work explores the unlikely union between the handmade and the discarded. Though clay remains central to my practice, found objects and textiles expand the dialogue. Integrating contrasting materials creates a visual and conceptual tension highlighting what is made, what is discarded, what is valued and what is kept.
