Lauren Pinson

I am fascinated by the history of the Central Pennsylvanian people and towns from which I call home. The objects, patterns, and art that come from the Pennsylvania Dutch and Pennsylvania German have slowly started to drive my work. From domestic objects that hail from the kitchen to embroidered patterns on clothing, tapestries, and quilts, these particular effects were a glimpse into everyday life. I am enchanted with attempting to bring these objects and people into a more recent domestic space.
