David Short and George Dubinsky founded Edgewood Made as a multidisciplinary design and manufacturing company in 2013. George attended Rhode Island School of Design for his undergrad, and they met at The School For American Crafts in the furniture design department, while George was obtaining his masters. Edgewood Made produces furniture and home goods from wood, metal and porcelain. Their interest in ceramics grew out of the initial idea that slip casting is one of the most fundamental manufacturing techniques. Every product is designed and produced in their Philadelphia based studio.
