Hitomi Shibata

Hitomi Shibata attended Okayama University in Okayama, Japan, earning a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts and Crafts in 1994 and a Master of Education in Ceramics in 1996. She attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2002 where she studied American ceramics. Presently, she co-owns and operates Studio Touya in Seagrove with her husband Takuro Shibata.
