Liz Collins is a part-time Philly based potter and Clay Studio member. The goal of her work is to bring a touch of childhood whimsy to functional household wares. She is inspired by how we use animals and fictional creatures in art to describe, understand and express our own feelings and sense of what it means to be human. All pieces are wheel-thrown stoneware with hand-built elements.
